Health Insurance
The LECOM health insurance plan is optional for non-current LECOM students. The current estimated cost to participate in the LECOM Insurance Plan for a single student is $4,452/year or $2,226/term.
The Cost of Education
The Cost of Education (COE) is the amount it will cost a student to go to school. The COE budget is calculated to show the total cost for the school year (i.e. the fall and spring terms). Programs that last a different period of time, (for instance, a 9-, 10-, 11-, or 12-month academic year) might show a COE that covers a time period other than a standard academic year.
The COE is the estimate of:
- Tuition and fees;
- Books, course materials, supplies, and equipment;
- Cost of housing and food (or living expenses);
- Transportation expenses;
- Loan fees (excluding any loan fees for non-federal student loans);
- Miscellaneous expenses (including a reasonable amount for the documented cost of a personal computer); and
- Costs of obtaining a license, certification, or first professional credential
Dual Enrolled Students
Students who choose to take a secondary program (dual degree) will receive funds to cover the secondary programs’ tuition and fees. Current LECOM alumni, employees, and/or affiliate organizations may request consideration for a tuition discount. Dual enrolled students may only receive one (1) LECOM scholarship or waiver throughout the academic year. Upon awarding and disbursement of the tuition waiver, any secondary funding eligibility will be awarded by the Grad PLUS loan funds.
Please see the table below regarding how additional funds are awarded to dual enrolled students.
Secondary Tuition | $12,820.00 |
(-) Tuition Waiver | (-) $3,205.00 |
Additional Aid Eligibility | $9,645.00 |
The COE budget may not always meet the students’ full financial responsibilities. LECOM student scholarships, waivers, and COE budgets are subject to change without notice.
