MMS Program Curriculum – Erie

All coursework within the Master of Medical Science Program curriculum is presented by LECOM faculty at the Erie campus.

The Master of Medical Science Program is a two-semester, non-thesis granting course of study designed to enhance the science background of participating students. Classes are held daily Monday through Friday for two 19-week periods. Classes are not held on designated holidays, and other holidays or occasions as so identified. Classes start in August and are complete in May of the following year.

Master of Medical Science students must adhere to all policies and regulations of LECOM.

The remainder of the curriculum is allocated to examinations, directed study, and other related modalities of instruction and assessment as appropriate. Upon successful completion of the one-year curriculum, the student will receive a Master’s degree acknowledging completion of all coursework.
