Masters of Medical Science – Bradenton
The MMS program is a one-year non-thesis degree program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for long-term professional and career development. The MMS program enhances critical thinking skills, teamwork strategies, and provides a foundation of knowledge in biomedical sciences. Through a curriculum that includes both lecture-based coursework and problem-based learning sessions, students develop skills to integrate biomedical sciences into clinical cases. These skills are directly transferable, enabling students to academically success in other LECOM programs centered in problem-based learning curriculum; such as in the LECOM College of Osteopathic Medicine and the School of Dental Medicine.
Students who successfully complete the MMS program and apply to LECOM through the channels appropriate to their chosen field (medicine, podiatry, dentistry, or pharmacy) while meeting all admission requirements, will be eligible for matriculation after a successful interview for their program of interest.
For more information, please contact Admissions at LECOM Bradenton, (941) 756-0690 or LECOM Erie at (814) 866-6641.
