LECOM/LECOMT Research Support Grant – Academic Year 2019 – 2020:
LECOM and LECOMT are pleased to announce the LECOM/LECOMT Research Support Grant for academic year 2019 -2020. An amount of up to $5,000 is available per grant award.
To accommodate new incoming residents and fellows we will be implementing two submission dates from which to choose. For Phase 1, applications may be submitted January to April 30, 2019 and will be awarded June 2019. For Phase 2, applications may be submitted June to August 1, 2019 and will be awarded October 15, 2019. Applicants may submit only once, choosing Phase 1 or Phase 2. Current residents/fellows/faculty are encouraged to submit in Phase 1 and new residents/fellows to submit in Phase 2.

Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI):
LECOMT in support of research and scholarly activity to their LECOMT members provides free membership to Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI).
CITI membership permits the user to access online modules that educate the researcher in the ethics as applicable to both human subjects and animal research.
Registration and completion of the modules is a requirement of many of the LECOMT member hospitals whose trainees conduct medical research.
Step-by-Step instructions for registering are provided on the website. Your participating institution should be entered as Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
