LECOM Student Fee Transparency
Pennsylvania Act Requirement
(Section 2004 H)
Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) must post online every mandatory fee in advance of the start of the academic term for which the fee will be charged and included on a tuition bill. The posting must include the purpose of the fee and a description of how it will be used.

| Curriculum Fee | Charged each year to each student in order to upgrade instructional equipment, improve library holdings, and for other instructional purposes. | $350 |
| Technology Fee | Charged each year to each student. Fee enables the institution to invest in instructional technology by upgrading computer labs and classrooms and providing other technological enhancements. | $350 – $375 |
| Board Prep Fee ( Charged to COM and SPM) | Charged each year to support board preparation activities, including instructional resources, educational materials, and services designed to assist students in preparing for required licensure examinations | $200- $300 |
| Student Government Fee | Charged each year to support student governance and representative activities, including the operation of student government, leadership programming, and services that promote student engagement. | $50 |
| ERAS Processing Fee | Charged to fourth-year COM students to support processing and administrative costs associated with ERAS residency applications. | $65 |
| Late Tuition Payment Fee | Assessed when tuition payment is not received by the published due date, as outlined in the institution’s billing and payment policies. | $50 / week |
| Student ID Replacement Fee | Charged to cover the cost of replacing a student identification card that is lost, damaged, or stolen. | $25 |
| Transcript Fee | Charged to cover the cost of processing and issuing official academic transcripts. | $20 |
| Book Fee (SOP) | Charged to School of Pharmacy students to cover required books and instructional materials. | $100 |
| Distance Education Technology Fee (SOP) | An additional technology fee is assessed to Distance Education students to cover remote proctoring of examinations. | $1,350 |
| Facility Equipment Fee (SDM) | Charged to School of Dental Medicine students to support the operation, maintenance, and replacement of instructional facilities, laboratories, and equipment required for program delivery. | $500 |
