APAP Curriculum
APAP Curriculum Overview
Accelerated Physician Assistant Pathway (APAP) students will complete the first-year of didactic instruction within the PBL Pathway at the Seton Hill campus in Greensburg, PA, followed by two primary care focused clinical clerkships: one in family medicine with a physician who is board-certified in osteopathic manipulation, and a second in geriatric medicine. These two clinical clerkships allow early exposure to clinical osteopathic primary care.
Students will return for a second year of didactic instruction followed by 13 clinical clerkships in the third year of the program.
First Year Fall and Spring Sessions (July to May)

First Summer Session (June to July)
Along with completing summer rotations and studying for the respective shelf exams, APAP students are also responsible for starting and/or completing additional courses during the summer:
- Public Health (including biostatistics), Directed Study
- Medical Spanish, Distance Education (Online Curriculum)
- Medical Jurisprudence, Distance Education (Online Curriculum)
