Pharmacists Post-Graduate Education

Pharmacists play a crucial role in the success of the LECOM School of Pharmacy, its students, and graduates. Whether through teaching, precepting students in pharmacy practice settings, or hiring LECOM graduates, pharmacists are instrumental in maintaining the high standards of education at LECOM and ensuring our graduates excel as healthcare professionals.

We encourage pharmacists to reach out to the LECOM School of Pharmacy with any questions about our programs, teaching, or precepting opportunities. To learn more about becoming a LECOM Pharmacy preceptor, please visit the link on our website. LECOM is committed to supporting its preceptors with Faculty/Preceptor Development, Continuing Medical Education conferences, and offering a discounted tuition for our Master of Science in Medical Education degree.

In addition, the School of Pharmacy has established the Center for Drug Information and Research (CDIR), which provides independent research, analysis, and evidence-based responses to drug information requests from healthcare professionals, caregivers, and patients. The CDIR also publishes The LECOM Point, a valuable resource featuring independent evidence analyses and expert commentary on a wide range of medical and pharmaceutical topics.

We value the ongoing partnership with pharmacists and appreciate their contributions to the education and success of our students and graduates. Thank you for being an integral part of our mission!
