(Pre-PharmD Enrichment and Pharmacy Post-Baccalaureate Program Entrance Requirements

To be considered for admission to the School of Pharmacy Post Baccalaureate pathway, prospective students must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
  • Complete eight semester hours with at least a “C” or better in each class in the following areas of study: general biology with labs, general chemistry with labs, and organic chemistry with labs;
  • Applicants are required to have completed at least three semester credits in the following areas of study: Physics, Economics, Statistics, Calculus, and Psychology OR Sociology, along with 6 credits in English and 9 General Elective Credits (any non-science, non-math course).
  • Have at least a C in each of the prerequisite classes; and
  • Provide scores from the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) if available (not required).

Additional Requirement Include:

  • Official Transcripts
  • One (1) letter of recommendation from a science professor

Prospective students must complete and submit the Health Science Post-Baccalaureate Application form, along with a nonrefundable deposit of $50.00, to the Office of Admissions at least two weeks prior to the start of classes. The $50.00 deposit is applied to the tuition charges upon matriculation.
