If you’re the type of person who likes to stay on top of healthcare trends, who has a passion for absorbing all the latest information and applying it to your lifestyle, then the Life Enrichment series is just what the doctor ordered.
The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) Bradenton would like to help you in your quest to stay up to date with a monthly series of Life Enrichment lectures that will cover the following topics:
- Our Aging Bodies
- Prescription Drugs and Potential Abuse
- Medicine Adherence
- Oral Hygiene As We Age
Sessions will be held at LECOM School of Dental Medicine, 4800 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Bradenton, at 3:30 p.m., on the fourth Thursday of every month, beginning on Jan. 26. Monthly sessions run through April 27.
The discussions will be given by LECOM faculty members and will last about an hour, with ample time for question-and-answer sessions. The first lecture on Jan. 26 will include a tour of the dental facility and reduced-price dental clinic.
You’ll learn, you’ll be entertained and you will come away knowing better how the interaction between body, mind and spirit dictates your health. The lectures are not only about gathering facts but also about delving into ideas and thinking about medical solutions with a new approach.
