Academic and administrative facilities have limited points of entry for students, employees, and visitors. On-campus medical facilities, including the Millcreek Community Hospital and LECOM Dental clinics, are open to the public.

ID badge/keycards must be worn visibly worn above the waist at all times while on campus and at all clinical sites. The ID badge/keycard must be scanned upon entering or leaving LECOM facilities.

Visitors on Campus

Only matriculated students are permitted in academic and administrative LECOM facilities. Non-students are not permitted to attend didactic or laboratory sessions without special permission from the Associate Dean of Preclinical Education or the Dean of the School of Pharmacy, as appropriate. No visitors are permitted in the anatomy laboratory without special permission from the Course Director of Gross Anatomy. These regulations are strictly observed.

Students and staff wishing to bring a visitor to any LECOM facilities must arrange for a special visitor’s pass, in advance, with the Director of Police and Security, the Director of Student Affairs, the Associate Dean of Preclinical Education or the Dean of the School of Pharmacy. Once approved, the Police and Security Department will be notified.

All approved visitors must check in at the Security Office and present photo identification. Visitors must sign the visitor’s log and wear a visitor badge indicating they are authorized to be on campus. Acceptable forms of photo identification include: 1) State issued driver’s license/identification card, 2) Valid passport, 3) Valid military identification card.
