The primary goal of LECOM is to educate students to become physicians who practice within the osteopathic concept. Additionally, the college’s goal is to educate and develop primary care physicians who will practice in the osteopathic tradition. The college imparts to its students a firm academic background, enabling them to pursue advanced training in medical specialties within osteopathic medicine. The mission of the LECOM School of Health Services Administration (SHSA) is to develop and deliver high quality masters and doctoral degree programs that prepare clinicians and graduate students for executive healthcare administration roles. Honoring osteopathic principles, educational excellence is maintained through an outcome-focused, case-based curriculum with experiential discovery and action research taught through a flexible on-line learning platform. Masters of Health Services Administration (MHSA)

  •  Achieve candidate status leading to full accreditation by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education.
  • Enroll diverse classes of highly motivated and qualified applicants having the greatest opportunity to successfully complete the program and advance to residency training.
  • Develop and deliver a rigorous innovative podiatric medical curriculum to meet current and future needs of the podiatric professional and communities served by graduates.
  • Recruit and integrate into the LECOM community a cohort of motivated faculty dedicated to teaching, scholarship, patient care, and service.
