Dr. Santiago Lorenzo is an Associate Professor of Physiology at LECOM-Bradenton.  He earned his B.Sc. in Exercise and Movement Science, M.Sc. in Human Physiology, and Ph.D. in Integrative Physiology from the University of Oregon, Eugene.  He completed his Postdoctoral training at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, and a M.Sc. in Medical Education from LECOM.

Research Interests

As a former Olympian in Track & Field, Dr. Lorenzo’s research interests include physiological responses to exercise, impact of environment on exercise performance in athletes, interventions related to the musculoskeletal system in athletes and non-athletes, and the effects of OMT on lower back pain.
