About Murat Ibatullin, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Murat Ibatullin, MD, is a neurosurgeon and neuroradiologist with over 45 years of experience in clinical practice, research, and academic teaching at leading university medical centers in Russia (Kazan and Saint Petersburg), as well as internationally in Kampala, Uganda. In 1985, he earned his PhD, focusing on diagnosis and surgical treatment of brain tumors. In 2002, he was awarded an advanced doctoral degree (Doctor of Medical Sciences), further advancing his research on multifocal brain lesions using MRI while serving as a full-time professor in Russia. He is the author of over 200 scientific publications and holds 11 patents and has received government awards in recognition of his contributions to healthcare. Since 2021, Dr. Ibatullin has been serving as an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Radiology at LECOM Bradenton.
Research Interest
His research interests include imaging and treatment of brain tumors, as well as vascular and degenerative diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.
