Dr. Joseph C. Galley, Ph.D.

Background and Experience

Dr. Joseph Galley is a scientist with over 10 years of experience in cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, immunology and vascular biology academic research experience. He has a B.A. in Biochemistry from Washington & Jefferson College and earned his Ph.D. from University of Pittsburgh in 2021. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh before joining LECOM in 2022.

Dr. Galley’s research interests focus on the transcriptional and signaling mechanisms which are responsible for vascular contractile and dilatory function. He also has ongoing projects looking at the clinical outcomes of a variety of pharmaceutical medications and how these agents compare with one another.
