Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, 2+4 Early Acceptance Program Coordinator
Background:
Dr. Jennifer Coseo completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies at Villanova University, and her medical degree at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed a residency in pediatrics at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Coseo is board certified in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics. She practiced as a general pediatrician in Elmira, NY and Sayre, PA. While in practice, Dr. Coseo was involved with the teaching of medical students and residents. She eventually joined the faculty at LECOM at Elmira full-time where she serves as a Problem Based Learning facilitator, assists with the History and Physical Exam course, and provides weekly virtual didactics for the MS-3 Pediatrics rotation. Dr. Coseo also serves as the 2+4 Early Acceptance Program Coordinator at the Elmira campus and as the course director for the internship program that facilitates the transition of these students to medical school at LECOM.
