The LECOM School of Pharmacy Distance Education pathway offers a flexible and innovative approach to pharmacy education. The majority of the program is taught through online courses, utilizing advanced synchronous and asynchronous technologies, allowing students to learn from home at their own pace. This online format provides convenience and accessibility while maintaining a rigorous academic standard. Each summer, students are required to attend in person at the Erie and Bradenton campus for one to two weeks to complete essential hands-on components, such as laboratory work, case studies, and presentations. This hybrid model combines the flexibility of online learning with crucial in-person experiences to prepare students for a successful pharmacy career.
