RN to PharmD Bridge Program

Looking to take your nursing experience to a new level? Let LECOM take you from RN to PharmD!

The RN to PharmD Bridge program is a certificate program developed by the LECOM School of Pharmacy for Registered Nurses who wish to leverage their nursing experience to transition into a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program.

As the field of pharmacy increasingly focuses on direct patient-centered care, LECOM recognizes the growing need for professionals with clinical experience.  Nurses, as longstanding experts in patient care across diverse settings, are uniquely positioned with invaluable insights into the pharmacy profession.  This program enables nurses to apply their direct care experience in new ways, ultimately contributing to improved healthcare outcomes for patients.

The RN to PharmD Bridge program is designed to build a solid foundation in basic sciences and other essential pre-requisite subjects for success in pharmacy school. Offered in a flexible distance education format, this program allows students to continue practicing nursing while preparing for their transition to pharmacy school.
