The journal is recognized internationally for its high impact in the field of pharmacology and biomedical research.
The publication provides a comprehensive and systematic review of the growing body of evidence supporting the role of bioactive phytochemicals – naturally occurring compounds found in plants – in the prevention and treatment of osteosarcoma, the most common primary malignant bone tumor. Osteosarcoma remains a highly aggressive cancer with significant treatment challenges, underscoring the importance of identifying innovative therapeutic strategies.
Drawing upon extensive preclinical research, the review examines how diverse classes of phytochemicals influence osteosarcoma progression through their effects on key molecular signaling pathways and cellular targets.
