Dr. Amy ChungThe Physicians’ Group of The Woodlands in Shenandoah, Texas recently offered tribute to the dedication of Amy Chung, DO, a board-certified internist who has brought a wealth of knowledge and her holistic approach to patient care. She emphasizes the importance of treating the whole person, not merely the illness.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Chung has embraced the growing field of telemedicine, serving as an internist with Teladoc Health Medical Group. This innovative approach allows her to reach a broader spectrum of patients.

After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of St. Thomas in 2006, Dr. Chung pursued advanced studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where she obtained her Master of Science in Medical Sciences in 2007.

Dr. Chung went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011, completing her residency training in 2015. Her dedication to the profession has not gone unnoticed; in 2021, she was honored as a Top Internist by Top Doctors Magazine, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to internal medicine.
