Biography
Dr. Justin Nistico is an infectious disease/internal medicine doctor who serves as the Medical Director for Chemung County Public Health Department, Centralus Health Infection Prevention Committee Chair, Centralus Health Medical Director for The Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine Program, Centralus Health Medical Director for HIV/Ivy Clinic, and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine. He completed his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on residency at New York Hospital Queens in Internal Medicine. He was chosen to be the chief resident in internal medicine and then was accepted to fellowship in infectious disease at Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein School of Medicine. He has numerous publications in peer reviewed medical journals along with poster and abstract acceptances at national medical meetings. He also has been a medical correspondent for WENY and WETM news broadcasts. He continues to work in Elmira, NY at Centralus Health as an infectious disease attending and the internal medicine coordinator for the LECOM medical students.
