Biography
Dr. Dean is a Board-Certified Family Physician with extensive experience in clinical medicine and education. Major clinical areas of practice have included Primary Care, Rural Medicine, Inpatient Hospital Medicine, Nursing Home care, and Urgent Care. Educational instructions include: Mentoring and Teaching Residents, Students, Nurses, Physician Assistants and others in clinical settings. Dr. Dean has always been a passionate educator and will continue to fulfill this meaningful call in at LECOM in Bradenton.
Dr. Dean has extensive experience in the business of medicine as he owned and directed four Urgent Care Centers for over 15 years with successful exit in 2023. This thriving business worked through the Covid pandemic. His centers were on the front line of testing, treatment and management for the public when other medical centers closed or were in dysfunction.
Dr. Dean is married with three children. He spends much of his free time in community service, and volunteering. He is also passionate about water sports including scuba diving and e-foiling.
