About Deepak Sharma, MD, MSMed
Deepak Sharma, MD, MSMed, is an academic physician and medical educator with a strong focus on anatomical sciences, medical education, and curriculum innovation. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine, has B.A in computer science from Portland State University and further pursued a Master of Science in Medical Education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Anatomy, Dr. Sharma has extensive experience teaching gross anatomy, histology, embryology, and clinically integrated basic sciences, with a particular emphasis on bridging foundational sciences with clinical application.

Dr. Sharma has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, textbooks, and international conference presentations, particularly in the fields of medical education. His work emphasizes innovative teaching strategies and the integration of technology to enhance student learning outcomes.
