Research Interests
My research focuses on innovation in anatomy and medical education. I have a special interest in learning resource development and the impact of spatial visualization ability on learning anatomy. My doctoral research investigated the interaction between spatial ability and learning using 3D stereoscopic digital anatomy models. Currently, our lab is looking at teaching techniques to best help health professional students learn anatomy and radiology, including the use of 3D digital and printed anatomy models.
My current research projects also cover a larger breadth of student development and community engagement. We are currently investigating educational interventions designed to support student resilience and academic success. We are also interested in the impact of student community service activities on public health.
