Biography
William Henwood has managed retail pharmacies, both chain and independent, as well as being a Director of Pharmacy for a large home infusion company in Pittsburgh. He has established a new company of the same and served as the Director of Pharmacy Services as well as the company’s Marketing Director.
For the past 17 years he has been employed at Vantage Holding Company, LLC in Meadville, PA where he has served in many capacities including Director of Marketing and Sales, and Vice President of Vantage’s long term care pharmacy, durable medical equipment and mobile imaging divisions where he was responsible to manage and direct the operations which included overseeing over 100 employees in that time span.
He has been a liaison to the CEO’s of the hospital owners of Vantage and in his current role as Senior Vice President of Business Development, he is responsible for the growth of four of the Core business lines of Vantage including Home Medical Equipment, Long Term Care Pharmacy, Hospital Linen and Mobile Imaging Services as well as new Market Growth of the Vantage Partnership Model. In that capacity, most recently, he was instrumental in helping form a Home Infusion Partnership with the Allegheny Health Network, the end result of which more than doubled top line revenue of the company but also opened up the Pittsburgh Market to Vantage’s Home Infusion Division.
Mr. Henwood currently serves as the Executive Director and CEO of Vantage Healthcare of Ohio, LLC where he is responsible for the mission, vision and strategic direction of the Company and in doing so providing the Owner Hospitals of Vantage Ohio quality services that save them money and increase their return on equity.
Mr. Henwood was elected to the Sharpsville Area School Board in 2008 and is the current School Board President.
