Biography
Mohamed O. Hussein, D.V.M., Ph.D is a Professor of Physiology in the college of medicine at LECOM Bradenton. After completing his Ph.D. at the Ohio State University, he did postdoctoral research in the Department of Neuroscience, University of California, Riverside investigating the effects of middle cerebral artery stroke on brain functions in a rat model. He also conducted research on Canine Scent Detection of Lung Cancer in Blood Serum at LECOM Bradenton. Dr. Hussein has been teaching at LECOM Bradenton since 2005 and has been a National Faculty member for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) for COMLEX – USA Level 1 since 2011.
