Biography

A native of Ohio, Dr. Meese received both his undergraduate degree, BA Finance, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University. He spent the first part of his career working in private practice in Charleston, South Carolina. While in South Carolina Dr. Meese met his future spouse. He spent 7 years traversing the country working in various private dental offices while his wife finished up her surgical training. Dr. Meese also was active in community dentistry, volunteering his time as a dentist at a Sarasota area senior medical clinic. Most recently Dr. Meese was in private practice in the Sarasota, Florida area. Dr. Meese first joined LECOM’s School of Dental Medicine as a part-time faculty member in 2019, and recently transitioned into full-time as the course director in operative dentistry and Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry. He is active in his local chapter of the Seattle Study Club, and attends numerous continuing education programs each year.
