Biography

Dr. Lea Ann Lope is a Physician Faculty member at LECOM Seton Hill. She specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. Dr. Lope practices at The Hartman Eye Group in Greensburg, PA, and operates at Independence Health Frick Hospital in Mount Pleasant, PA.

Dr. Lope received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University before attending the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a general medical internship at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA, an ophthalmology residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Lope is board certified in ophthalmology by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, the World Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, the American College of Osteopathic Ophthalmology, and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association. Prior to joining The Hartman Eye Group, Dr. Lope was a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she practiced at Children’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital of UPMC.
