Biography
Dr. Madras is the Director of Student Services, Professor, a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, and a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist. She is a licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan, and her specialty is in the area of ambulatory care. Dr. Madras practices at a family medicine office where she precepts pharmacy students. Her faculty responsibilities include both the pharmacy and medical schools. She teaches in the Pharmacotherapy courses, Clinical Laboratory and Physical Assessment course, PharmD Seminar course, and an elective course in the School of Pharmacy, as well as a smoking cessation lecture in the College of Medicine. She currently serves as faculty advisor for the Rho Chi Society and Student Government Association. Dr. Madras is also an academic advisor for pharmacy students. Dr. Madras has published articles, reviewed book chapters, and continuing education book chapters presented continuing education programs, presented posters at national meetings, and presented on an admissions topic at a national meeting.
