Biography
Hoyt DeVolder is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice. He completed pharmacy school at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 2023. During school, he was involved with Phi Delta Chi and Phi Lambda Sigma. He completed a certificate in palliative care in pharmacy and healthcare business leadership. After graduating, he completed two years of residency within the Allegheny Health Network (PGY1 at Saint Vincent hospital in Erie, PA; PGY2 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA) both focusing on ambulatory care. His areas of interest include ambulatory care, diabetes management, heart failure, palliative care, precepting, and pharmacy practice. Dr. DeVolder is eager to educate the next wave of pharmacists!
