Biography
Dr. Dave Burt has been practicing for over 40 years in the Lehigh Valley performing all aspects of general dentistry including orthodontics, removable and fixed prosthodontics, CAD/CAM and digital dentistry, endodontics, implants, and oral surgery as well as sleep dentistry. His affiliations include ADA, FDA, Fellowship in ICOI and Fellowship in ICD. He was a designated provider for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has authored numerous articles concerning digital technologies and their application to clinical dentistry.
For over a decade, he has developed a passion for diagnosis and treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea leading him to acquire extensive training in oral appliance therapy for OSA. Dr. Dave was DME certified for Medicare and worked with all health insurances for medical billing.
Dr. Dave was also actively involved in a sleep study club led by a leading Philadelphia pulmonologist. Many of his patients realized better sleep, health, and overall wellness through his oral appliance therapy. The physicians and specialists in the Lehigh Valley referred their OSA patients to him when CPAP was no longer a solution.
In his spare time, Dr. Dave and his wife Trish enjoy most outdoor sports including kayaking, biking, x-country skiing, and the newest adventure is E-bikes.
