Biography
Dr. Brandon Sing, a native of Erie, PA, is the Assistant Dean of Curriculum and Assessment and an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the LECOM School of Pharmacy. Dr. Sing completed his pre-pharmacy studies at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the LECOM School of Pharmacy in 2016. He completed a post-graduate year one pharmacy residency at AHN Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA. During his time in pharmacy school and residency, Dr. Sing developed an interest in teaching leading to the pursuit of his Master of Science in Medical Education from LECOM. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. Sing returned to LECOM as a faculty member, with a practice site as a clinical/consultant pharmacist at the LECOM Senior Living Center. Since, Dr. Sing’s clinical role has shifted to the LECOM Medical Center. He obtained board certification in infectious disease pharmacy (BCIDP) and certification in antimicrobial stewardship, and currently serves as an infectious disease/antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist for the health system. Dr. Sing also served as the Director of Pharmacy Residency Education for several years. Dr. Sing’s teaching in the LECOM School of Pharmacy has included pharmacotherapeutics, pharmaceutical calculations, clinical pharmacokinetics, patient safety and professional development-related topics. His teaching is currently focused in infectious disease pharmacy.
