Biography
Dr. Stevich-Heemer is a professor at the LECOM School of Pharmacy. Dr. Stevich-Heemer returned to her alma mater, the LECOM School of Pharmacy, as a faculty member from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she practiced as a clinical pharmacy specialist. Dr. Stevich-Heemer received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in biology and minor in chemistry and a Master of Science degree in molecular genetics from Youngstown State University. She received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the LECOM School of Pharmacy. Dr. Stevich-Heemer completed pharmacy practice residency (PGY1) at the University of Tennessee and hematology/oncology pharmacy practice specialty residency (PGY2) at the University of Kentucky. In addition, she received a teaching certificate from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. Dr. Stevich-Heemer also received a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Medical Education from LECOM Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Stevich-Heemer main areas of teaching at LECOM include hematology, oncology, pharmacogenetics, and clinical pharmacokinetics.
