Biography

Dr. Snoke is an assistant professor of restorative dentistry and a clinical dentistry preceptor with the LECOM Bradenton School of Dental Medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Bachelor of Science in Education, and a Master of Science in Molecular Biophysics from Ohio State University (OSU). He was also a Ph.D. candidate in Molecular Biophysics at OSU before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery there in 1979. He also holds a special certification in science teaching from Ohio Dominion College. Dr. Snoke served as science department chair for Columbus (Ohio) City Schools before joining the faculty of Ohio State University. He operated a restorative and cosmetic dentistry practice for more than 35 years. In 2014, Dr. Snoke joined the LECOM staff as a part-time clinical instructor before becoming an assistant professor of restorative dentistry in 2016. He is a past or present member of the following organizations: American Dental Association; Florida Dental Association; West Coast Dental Association; Pinellas County Dental Association; Ohio State University Dental Alumni Association; American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry; Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry; American Academy of Osseointegration; American Academy of Dentistry for the Handicapped; and the Seattle Study Club (St. Petersburg, Florida).
