Biography
Angela Benton, PhD is the assistant director of the Master of Medical Science Program and an Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Immunology in the college of medicine at LECOM Bradenton. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University, a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Mississippi College, and a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After graduate school, she completed postdoctoral training at Virginia Tech in the department of biomedical sciences and pathobiology at the Center for One Health Research. Dr. Benton has been at LECOM Bradenton since
2021.
