Biography
Dr. Alexander Ziegler is a Pediatric dentist and serves as a part time clinical preceptor at the Bradenton campus for the School of Dental Medicine students. This program include 4 years with combination of lecture, lab simulation, and patient-treatment clinical sessions. Dr. Ziegler’s education includes a residency specialty in pediatric dentist, a doctorate of dental surgery, and a bachelor of science in Biochemistry and French.
Dr. Ziegler is originally from Erie, PA and now resides in Lakewood Ranch and Naples, FL. He is an active member in the Florida Dental Association and Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ziegler’s other full time position includes work at an independent health clinic where he primarily treats low income immigrants who now reside in Florida. Dr. Ziegler brings research experience in Dental Pulp stem cells, Golgi Body analysis, and Pacifier Feeding. He recently has been the co-principle investigator for three student led research projects during the past two years. Two of these projects earned the first and second award for the 2024 inter-professional research day at LECOM. His other areas of research includes pediatric sleep medicine.
