LECOM Celebrates Commencement Ceremonies in Erie, PA and Bradenton, FL

Abundant dreams filled the halls of multiple event centers this spring as the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) graduated its accomplished scholars to meet the calling of their lives.
LECOM graduated its 28th class as the Class of 2025 received degrees in Erie, Pennsylvania on June 1, 2025. The Erie event, held at the Erie Insurance Arena, boasted a total of 617 degrees awarded to LECOM Erie, LECOM at Seton Hill, and LECOM at Elmira scholars. The Commencement Ceremony in Erie included the awarding of 421 Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degrees from LECOM Erie, Seton Hill, and Elmira. An additional 94 graduates received the Pharm.D. Degree through the LECOM Erie Accelerated Pathway.
A prodigious 98 Masters Degrees from the LECOM School of Health Services were awarded to LECOM scholars, along with four doctoral degrees bestowed upon successful graduates.
LECOM Commencement Ceremonies in Bradenton, Florida followed a week later, on June 8, 2025, with an additional 467 degrees being awarded at two ceremonies held at the Bradenton Area Convention Center in Palmetto, Florida. A morning ceremony for the College of Medicine, School of Health Services Administration, and School of Graduate Studies was followed by an afternoon ceremony, during which School of Pharmacy, School of Dental Medicine, and dual degree candidates received their diplomas. More than 1,100 degrees across all campuses were conferred upon proud and deserving graduates.
Founded in 1992, LECOM has grown to become the largest and one of the most affordable medical schools in the United States. LECOM offers innovative, student-centered pathways that result in degrees in osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, dental medicine, podiatry, and health services administration. To date, LECOM has graduated more than 17,000 healthcare professionals who are now serving communities across the country. The entire event, across all campus locales, was a grand triumph as more than one thousand superlatively trained LECOM healthcare graduates have now gone forth to answer their calling and to better each community into which they venture.
