Biography
Rocco Rotello is the Associate Professor of Pharmacology, in the LECOM School of Medicine, Bradenton, Florida. Rocco’s area of graduate instruction including pharmaceutical science, drug discovery, action and metabolism, including pharmacogenomics, immunology, antibody therapy and sterile drug manufacturing in a 503b facility. Rocco served as founding faculty member in a school of pharmacy and helped secure initial accreditation with ACPE. Rocco is an inventor on human monoclonal antibody therapy patents that target blood vessel stabilization that leads to reduced edema and promotes endothelial survival. Rocco has 16 years of corporate experience at Procter & Gamble and understands the technical and business side of developing and marketing a reliable product. Other areas of research include, drug formulation, OTC supplements, combination drug/devices. Rocco’s focus is student success and mentoring that leads to subject matter expertise, which leads to improved patient outcomes.
