LECOM School of Dental Medicine Receives Accolades

Administration and leadership at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) extends hearty congratulations to the LECOM School of Dental Medicine for being presented with the Outstanding Dental Partnership Award, and to Dr. Susan Calderbank for being named as the recipient of the Compassionate Leader Award presented by the Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh.

Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh is an annual cost-free, two-day dental, vision, and hearing clinic.

The LECOM School of Dental Medicine received these noteworthy accolades because of its impactful volunteerism offered at the Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh Clinic.

The LECOM participants were selected for these honors in worthy recognition of the skillful dental services provided and the community engagement demonstrated by those involved at the Clinic.

The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine (SDM) first welcomed students in Bradenton, Florida in July of 2012, establishing yet a new era in the betterment of healthcare education.
