Dr. Scott Kincaid is a professor of pharmacy practice and director of student services at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy in 2005 from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy and furthered his training by completing a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency and a PGY-2 infectious diseases pharmacy practice residency at West Virginia University Hospitals. Prior to his current position, Dr. Kincaid served on faculty at South University School of Pharmacy from 2007 until 2013. In 2013, he accepted a position at UK HealthCare as the clinical coordinator of internal medicine pharmacy services. Dr. Kincaid then served as the interim director of clinical pharmacy services for eight months prior to accepting the full-time position in October 2015. He served as the director of clinical services for UK HealthCare prior to joining the faculty at LECOM in December 2018. Dr. Kincaid is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and was active in clinical practice and research as an infectious diseases clinical specialist at St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System in Savannah, Georgia, from 2007 to 2013 and subsequently in internal medicine at UK HealthCare. Dr. Kincaid was the residency program director for infectious diseases and internal medicine pharmacy practice at UK HealthCare for four years. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Kincaid also has experience within the travel medicine arena having participated in and led multiple medical missions to Guatemala over the past 12 years.
