Primary Care 2018 Continuing Medical Education Conference

Primary Care 2018 will focus upon health problems commonly seen in the offices of primary care physicians. The objective of this three-day seminar is to provide participating physicians with information about new medical advancements in order to increase the scope of treatment options available to primary care physicians and to enhance the physicians’ existing knowledge of topics that will be covered. Two hours will also be devoted to the education and training on child abuse recognition and reporting approved by the Department of Human Services in accordance with Act 31. The conference offers a unique learning experience for physicians and health care professionals seeking to learn the latest information about medical advancements and treatment options. LECOM faculty and guest lecturers will present topics pertinent to primary care physicians as well as to specialists.

LECOM Primary Care 2018 offers the LIGHT Pre-Conference on Thursday, February 28, with lectures specializing on geriatric medicine topics. This pre-conference is accredited for 5 hours of AOA Category 1-A credit.
The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.
The LECOM designates the pre-conference program for a maximum of twenty-five (25) of AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
