LECOM prepares students to actively serve and become a positive force for change in their communities. The College encourages students to become involved in community service projects within LECOM and throughout Erie, Pennsylvania and Bradenton, Florida.

Many opportunities become available for student outreach into the community and LECOM students continually are demonstrating that "The Community is Our Campus." Nearly 40 student clubs and academic societies provide thousands of volunteer hours to local organizations. Throughout the academic year, students are raising funds or collecting goods to make life better for their neighbors, not only in Erie and Bradenton, but around the country and across the globe.
