Information on the LECOM Interview Process

When you are selected for an admissions interview at LECOM, you will receive a letter providing your interview date and time. You will need to make your own travel and hotel arrangements for your visit.

The interview morning will consist of a presentation of the curriculum, an overview of financial aid procedures, an individual half-hour interview with the interview panel, followed by a tour of the campus. You will have an opportunity to meet with LECOM students while you enjoy a complimentary lunch.

The LECOM Erie campus offers four distinct learning pathways during the preclinical curriculum that match the learning styles of medical students. Please review the enclosed description of the learning pathways. At the end of the interview morning, you will be asked to rank order your preference for the pathways. If you require travel or hotel accommodations for your scheduled interview, please understand that all costs for travel and hotel are the responsibility of the applicant. This web site includes hotel information and campus directions.

Please make certain all supporting documents (letters of recommendation and MCAT scores) have been received in the Office of Admissions prior to the date of the interview. You must confirm your interview attendance within two (2) weeks of receiving your letter. Failure to confirm your attendance will result in cancellation of the interview.
