2010 Primary Care Update CME Conference in Hawaii
Nearly 50 physicians and health care professionals completed 20 credits of Continuing Medical
Education during LECOM's first CME conference in Hawaii. The conference ran from September 20-23,
2010.
LECOM clinical faculty members presented the latest medical information regarding health
problems commonly seen in the offices of primary care physicians. The objective of the four-day
seminar was to provide participating physicians with information about new medical advancements in
order to increase the scope of treatment options available to primary care physicians and to
enhance the physicians' existing knowledge of topics that were covered.
Now that the conference has concluded, participants should complete the LECOM 2010
Primary Care Update Outcomes Survey. This will help the LECOM CME team to evaluate the
effectiveness of the conference program.
