Link to information for Medical Professional Performance Systems (MPPS):
The assessment and development tool for LECOMT interns, residents, and fellows developed by William Donohue, PhD, distinguished professor of Communications at Michigan State University.

The MPPS is a web-based tool providing assessment and development for resident physicians.  The tool is meant to be used for annual or bi-annual assessments of trainee performance.

The system features a 360-degree assessment and personalized learning curriculum based on assessment results.

The end result of the web-based tool is to provide valid and reliable evaluation and data-driven education tools for postgraduate training programs to assist them in meeting requirements for accreditation and certification.

Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI):
LECOMT in support of research and scholarly activity to their LECOMT members provides free membership to Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI).

CITI membership permits the user to access online modules that educate the researcher in the ethics as applicable to both human subjects and animal research.

Registration and completion of the modules is a requirement of many of the LECOMT member hospitals whose trainees conduct medical research.

Step-by-Step instructions for registering are provided on the website.  Your participating institution should be entered as Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
