BASIC SCIENCE/PBL FACULTY LECOM is currently seeking full-time, 12-month faculty (all ranks) for its site located on the campus of Seton HIll University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. LECOM at Seton HIll presents the preclinical curriculum primarily via Problem-Based Learning (PBL). The campus opened in July 2009 and in anticipation of the arrival of the second class of students in July 2010, we are seeking to fill at least five new faculty positions. All successful candidates will facilitate PBL groups, advise osteopathic medical students and contribute to the development of the college through research and/or service. Faculty may be involved in other courses depending on training and expertise. A Ph.D./D.O./M.D. degree is required. Applications from anatomists and microbiologists are especially encouraged, as are applications from candidates with prior PBL experience.
