ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF PHARMACY
PRACTICE
Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy (LECOM-SOP) is inviting
applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track clinical faculty position at our
Bradenton, FL campus. The position is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and the
preferred area of practice is ambulatory care. Experience in clinical patient assessment is
preferred. The faculty member will develop a clinical practice where they will precept final year
Pharm.D. students. On-campus responsibilities will include didactic teaching in pharmacy practice
courses, advising students, serving on school committees, and contributing to the scholarly
pursuits of the school. Candidates should be willing to be a part of a dynamic program and
supportive collaboration within the school as well as the College of Osteopathic Medicine. The
school provides time and faculty development funds for participation in professional
meetings.

Pharmacy is full accredited by ACPE with a curriculum that is delivered in a traditional four year
program at Bradenton, FL and in an accelerated three year track at the Erie campus. The Bradenton
program is housed along with the College of Osteopathic Medicine in a state-of-the-art 109,000
square foot education center in Lakewood Ranch, a master-planned community in Manatee and Sarasota
counties.
Qualified individuals should have a Pharm.D. degree, residency and/or fellowship training
or equivalent experience. Candidate must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of
Florida.
