IRB Member Agreements, Training, and Responsibilities

The LECOM Institutional Review Board (IRB) is charged with protecting the rights and welfare of people involved in research at LECOM and LECOM-affiliated facilities. The LECOM IRB reviews all plans for research involving human subjects in medical, behavioral and education settings. In agreeing to serve the IRB, board members and staff contribute to this effort in protecting the individuals who participate as subjects of research projects at the college and affiliated institutions.

The following documents outline the training requirements, confidentiality agreements and responsibilities of members of the LECOM Human Subjects IRB and Human Research Protection Program staff as described in the LECOM Human Subjects Research IRB Standard Operating Procedures manual.
