Students meet once a month from October-May at LECOM Bradenton's campus, 5000 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. HBE begins Oct. 13.
The goals for the HBE course are:
- To stimulate and inform students about career opportunities in medicine and the biological sciences, especially the neurosciences:

- To prepare students to compete in the Kid’s Judge Neuroscience Fair.
A laboratory component provides hands-on experiments related to the lecture topic. LECOM Bradenton medical students are the instructors in the laboratory.
The cost of the program is $125. Checks should be made out to LECOM Bradenton Post 881 and forwarded to Russell Sexton, Ph.D., 5000 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Bradenton, FL 34211.
