The LECOM School of Pharmacy welcomed the class of 2010 during its orientation program Sept. 20-23, with 131 new students beginning their path toward a degree in pharmacy.

Students began their LECOM careers on Thursday, Sept. 20, with a welcome from Susan Lazzaro, M.S., M.A., Institutional Director of Student Affairs; Msgr. David A. Rubino, Ph.D., Vice Provost; and Donald A. Tuttle, Pharm. D., Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the LECOM School of Pharmacy.
During the four-day event, new students got the opportunity to meet with fellow classmates and the pharmacy faculty while learning about school policy and information resources. On Sept. 20, students spent the lunch hour interacting with their faculty advisers.Following another day of informational speakers and interaction, the class of 2010 participated in a Constitution Day

On Saturday, Sept. 22, the new students brought family and friends to tour the school and converse with faculty and students from other classes. On Sunday, Sept. 23, the pharmacy class of 2008 and 2009 hosted a picnic event at Cookhouse Pavilion at Presque Isle for the incoming class.
