
LECOM Bradenton hosts international osteopathic research conference
Researchers from Europe, Australia and the United States participated at LECOM Bradenton in a three-day conference for sharing ideas on the best evidence and outcomes through the use of osteopathic manipulative medicine.
AOA President Carlo DiMarco, DO, addressed the conference along with John Licciardone, DO, Executive Director of the Osteopathic Research Center, University of North Texas Health Science Center.

More than 40 researchers gathered to hear speakers present research that they've designed to measure the effectiveness of osteopatic manipulative treatment and to learn more about the mechanisms used in the treatment actions.
Dr. Licciardone presented a detailed report on osteopathic medical research done at his center.
